Sarosh Nanavati is the Founder and Principal at ESG Performance Partners.  In addition to offering consulting services, he is currently a Senior ESG Research Analyst at the Pennock Idea Hub, an independent investment research boutique located in Toronto Canada, where he provides institutional investors with investment research relating to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues.

Sarosh has over 30 years of experience in diverse and challenging capital markets roles, with most of that time as an institutional portfolio manager.  He has worked in large international corporate environments such as HSBC, Sun Life and UBS, as well as in smaller more entrepreneurial firms such as Wellington West Capital Markets, Scheer Rowlett & Associates and the Pennock Idea Hub.

Sarosh holds an undergraduate degree in business from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto, as well as an MBA from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.  He is a CFA charter holder, holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, a Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and a Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Certificate from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

Sarosh currently serves on the boards of two not-for-profit organizations – CARE Canada (based in Ottawa Canada), and Yayasan CARE Peduli (based in Jakarta Indonesia).  At CARE Canada, he is currently Vice Chair of the Governance, Human Resources and Nominations Committee and sits on the Finance, Audit & Risk Management Committee.  He  has previously served on the boards of Raise Production (RPC-V), a TSXV-listed energy technology company and the Board of the Oakville Minor Baseball Association (based in Oakville Canada).
